Timberwolves forward Kevin Love was named to the all-NBA second team today in voting among 120 reporters and broadcasters in the United States and Canada.

Love averaged a career-high (and single-season franchise-record) 26.0 points per game, fourth-best in the NBA and averaged 13.3 rebounds, second in the league.

Voters were asked to vote for first, second and third teams, with five points for each first-team vote, three for each second-team vote and one for a third-team vote. Love got 16 first-team votes and finished with 365 votes, third among forwards and seventh among all players.

Love becomes the third Wolves player to earn all-NBA honors. Kevin Garnett was named to the first team three times, the second team three times and the third team twice while with the Wolves. Sam Cassell was named to the second team after the 2003-04 season.
