Democratic U.S. Sen. Al Franken reported raising $2.1 million in fundraising during the last three months of 2013 for his re-election campaign, and has $4.8 million banked for the race.

Businessman Mike McFadden, one of Franken's Republican challengers, raised $780,000 during the same period and has $1.7 million in cash on hand for his bid to unseat Franken.

The other Republicans in the race have yet to release their fourth quarter fundraising totals.
