A motorcyclist died in a crash on a central Minnesota highway shortly after sunset, authorities said Sunday.
The wreck occurred about 9:25 p.m. Saturday in Meeker County on Hwy. 22 near 340th Street in Harvey Township, according to the State Patrol.
The rider was identified as Leslie Lemke, 57, of Watertown, S.D.
Lemke was heading south on the highway, when his motorcycle veered to the right and hit a driveway approach, the patrol said. He was thrown from his motorcycle.
An air ambulance took Lemke to St. Cloud Hospital, where he died, the patrol added.
