Condor Airlines makes its Twin Cities debut Thursday when a flight from Frankfurt, Germany arrives at MSP Airport.

Officials from the Metropolitan Airports Commission and the German-based airline will speak after flight 4042 touches down around 5 p.m. at the Terminal 2, formerally know as the Humphrey Terminal.

Condor will offer seasonal, nonstop service from Minneapolis-St. Paul to Frankfurt. From there, passengers can connect to several destinations throughout Germany and Europe, airline officials said.

The ariline has been around since 1956 and flys about 7 million passengers each year. It serves 75 destinations in Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States.

It's fleet is includes 40 aircraft: 12 Airbus A320s, 3 Airbus A321, 13 Boeing 757-300s and 12 Boeing 767-300s.
