Word from the major transit providers is that all buses and trains will be running as usual on the regular Monday schedule. That said, Metro Transit, Maple Grove Transit, MVTA, SouthWest Transit, BlueXpress and Plymouth Metrolink implore riders to dress in layers and use shelter where possible.

Metro Transit: The Route 568 trip to Opportunity Partners in Minnetonka has been canceled Monday because that location will be closed due to weather.

Here is a note from Minnesota Valley Transit: "Extremely cold temperatures are expected Monday, January 6th! MVTA buses will operate a regular weekday schedule this day, but PLEASE DRESS APPROPRIATELY FOR THE COLD WEATHER! Thank you - Stay warm and be safe!"
