Eagles in the spotlight

A webcam trained on a bald eagle nest in St. Paul is now beaming live video of all the action at www.webcams.dnr.state.mn.us/eagle/. The nest already holds two eggs, so the adults spend most of their time sitting in the nest to keep these warm. This may be the same pair of eagles that were featured on the Department of Natural Resource's webcam last year; their eggs were laid much earlier in the year and probably froze. Information about the eagles' activities are featured on the DNR Nongame Wildlife Program's Facebook page.
