A man remained hospitalized Saturday after being shot at a popular St. Paul bar near the Xcel Energy Center on Friday night.
The shooting happened shortly after 11:30 p.m. on the patio at Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub.
St. Paul police spokesman Howie Padilla said the shooting was the result of an altercation between the two acquaintances and wasn't related to the hockey tournament going on at the Xcel.
He said the suspect fled and was later arrested in Woodbury. The victim, who hasn't been named, is in stable condition.
