Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was asked Thursday if he watched Eagles quarterback Michael Vick on Monday night as he became the first player in NFL history with at least 300 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, four passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in a game.

Peterson didn't hesitate with his answer.

"Oh man, did I," he said. "The first half. It was pretty much over after that. I watched it. He's doing a wonderful job. A lot of guys kind of didn't really think he would come out and have the type of season he's having. But I know talent and just seeing little flashes of him through the preseason I knew that when he had the opportunity he was going to be able to go out there and be the same Vick he was and he has shown that." So what was better? Peterson's NFL record 296-yard rushing game in 2007 against San Diego or Vick's performance Monday? "I don't know," Peterson said. "I'll let you be the judge."
