Video (01:38) : Family and friends are devastated to hear that five siblings died in a Minneapolis duplex fire early Friday morning.
Shaca Fannie Lewis, 9, and Electra Lewis, 5, remained in critical condition Sunday night at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis with injuries suffered in the Friday morning blaze that killed five of their brothers and sisters. A hospital spokeswoman said she could not say whether the children suffered burns or smoke inhalation injuries. Their father, Troy Lewis, 60, was still in satisfactory condition.
Fire officials said Sunday that the investigation into the fire in the duplex on Colfax Avenue N. in Minneapolis continues but that there was no new information about how it started and spread.
