Many of Minnesota's private colleges are holding fall visit days next weekend. (Carleton College cutely calls its program "Falling for Carleton.")
You can get a campus tour, attend information sessions and, in some cases, interview with admissions staffers.
"This is an ideal time for high school students and families to visit a college campus and start thinking more about college options," said John Manning, spokesman for the Minnesota Private College Council.
That council has organized a handy list of campuses and their events. See it here.
Then let me know how that visit goes!
