Ann Lenczewski, DFL-Bloomington, chair of the House tax committee paid a surprise visit to the bills chief opponent Rep. Greg Davids, R-Preston, an opponent of the bill, during House debate of the tax bill.
Rep. Jerry Newton, DFL-Coon Rapids, right passed a bag of tiny candy bars to Rep. Joe Mullery, DFL-Minneapolis during House debate of the tax bill.
Visiting students watched from the House gallery as members raised handt to call for a roll call vote on an amendment during House debate.
