Players to watch: C Mikko Koivu has three points in his past two games, including Thursday's overtime winner. D Tom Gilbert assisted on the Wild's final two goals Thursday. W/C Erik Christensen has five goals in the past nine games, including the goal that sent Thursday's game into overtime. G Niklas Backstrom is 5-5-3 all-time vs. L.A. G Josh Harding is 2-3-0. C Anze Kopitar had 13 points in 13 games in March entering Friday's game. RW Justin Williams had nine points in his past 10 games.

Numbers: Just three players (Kyle Brodziak, Dany Heatley and Darroll Powe) have played in every game for the Wild this season. The Wild power play is 5-for-19 the past seven games and ranks fifth in the NHL since March 17.

Injuries: Wild LW Guillaume Latendresse (concussion), RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard (concussion), D Jared Spurgeon (concussion), D Mike Lundin (hernia), Matt Kassian (groin) and C Matt Cullen (broken finger) are out. For L.A., LW Scott Parse (hip surgery) and LW Simon Gagne (concussion) are out. C Jeff Carter (ankle) was listed as doubtful for Friday's game.
