Starting with tonight's evening rush hour, drivers on Hwy. 169 through Edina and Hopkins will encounter long-term ramp closures associated with a bridge rehabilitation project.

Here is what will be closed until mid- to late July:

The ramp from Bren Road to northbound Hwy. 169.

The ramp from W. 7th Street/Interlachen Road to southbound Hwy. 169.

The ramp from Excelsior Blvd. to southbound 169 (already closed) will remain closed. Eastbound Excelsior traffic will be detoured to Blake Road and Hwy. 7. Westbound drivers will be detoured via Shady Oak Road to Hwy. 7.

Hwy. 169 will remain in a single lane configuration between the Crosstown and Hwy. 7 as MnDOT is rehabilitating the Nine Mile Creek, Excelsior Boulevard and 2nd Street bridges.
