Week 12 of the Page 2 Fantasy Football Challenge is upon us. Each week, a guest picker chooses a QB, WR and RB who he or she believes will score big in fantasy that week. The only players off-limits are those selected by the previous week's guest picker. The guest — Myron Bennett, manager of the Hadley Buttermakers amateur baseball team — will go head-to-head against Star Tribune writer Michael Rand, who is not allowed to pick anyone projected in the top 10 by NFL.com experts at their respective positions:

QB: Drew Brees, Saints

NFL.com QB projection: No. 1

Matchup: Falcons

Brees seems like a good pick this week. He's playing against a two-win Atlanta team that allowed 41 points and 400-plus yards to Tampa Bay.

RB: Adrian Peterson, Vikings

Matchup: Packers

AP is due for a breakout big game. He has had some big games at Lambeau. SKOL Vikess!

WR: Antonio Brown, Steelers

NFL.com WR projection: No. 36

Matchup: Browns

Coming off a big game against Detroit, Brown and Big Ben should have their way with Cleveland. Brown has been consistent, and the Steelers need a win.

MICHAEL RAND's WEEK 12 FANTASY PICKS

QB: Eli Manning, Giants

NFL.com QB projection: No. 12

Matchup: Cowboys

Manning has put up pedestrian passing numbers this season except for Week 1 against Dallas when he threw for 450 yards and four TDs. That would satisfy me this week, too.

RB: Bobby Rainey, Buccaneers

NFL.com RB projection: No. 12

Matchup: Lions

He was the breakout star last week, rushing for 163 yards and scoring three combined touchdowns. Even if he has half the yards and one TD, I'll take it.

WR: Victor Cruz, Giants

Guest picker

NFL.com WR projection: No. 13

Matchup: Cowboys

I'm doubling down on Giants who had big games against Dallas in Week 1. Cruz caught three of those Manning TD passes. Dallas can't stop anyone. Have to like those odds.
