Now that the Twin's season has begun and school is getting out soon, maybe you're thinking about taking your kids to Target Field for a game. Here's some tips, tricks and advice for making the visit extra special.

1. First timers? Stop at the guest services booth for a "First Game" certificate and sometimes even a coupon for concessions.

2. Save money on concessions by buying your kids meal in section 311 and bringing your own drinks. Yes, you read that right. You can bring sealed, unopened bottled water, up to 32 ounces and soft sided juice or milk. {Think juice boxes.} Another pro tip- feed your kids ahead of time. The sights and smells at the stadium are overwhelming and will prompt a lot of "I want this" or "I want that" but if they go with a full tummy, in theory, you might be able to get away with a treat or two.

3. Get there early. Not only can you catch batting practice and get some good photo ops but you might even be able to get in on a Target Field tour. Check their site for full schedules of when this is offered.

4. If it's Sunday, kids can get pre-game autographs and run the bases after the game.

5. Visit Hrbek's for Twins memoribilia and a walk down memory lane.

6. Live out in the 'burbs? Really make it an experience and take the light rail to the game. Driving? Park in Ramp B or C.
