THEATER OF PUBLIC POLICY

Monday: This troupe is aces at making the wonky wacky. Imagine CSPAN being suddenly swarmed by the cast of SNL (when they're actually funny) and you've got the Theater of Public Policy. They recently got six Minneapolis mayoral candidates, including winner Betsy Hodges, to submit to their routine, which consists of serious info followed by quickly improvised riffs on said info. Lather, rinse and repeat. This week's theme is climate change, with guest Paul Huttner, chief meteorologist for MPR. The League of Women Voters co-hosts. (6:30 p.m., Huge Theater, 3037 Lyndale Av. S., Mpls., $5, www.T2P2.net.)
