Photos: Dayton gets high-five from visiting Willmar students

The Capitol is filled with visiting school groups this time of year from all across the state. A group from Willmar Middle School gathered on the steps to listen to their Representative Mary Sawatzky, Wednesday. Governor Mark Dayton also came by for photos with the kids and high-fives all around.

The Capitol is filled with visiting school groups this time of year from all across the state. Governor Mark Dayton stopped by to visit with some middle schoolers from Willmar posing for photos with the kids and high-fives all around.

This group from Willmar Middle School gathered on the steps to listen to their Representative Mary Sawatzky who is also a teacher at the school.

Photojournalist Glen Stubbe has been chief political photographer for the Star Tribune since 2011 and was business photographer and photo editor before that. He was named Visual MN Photographer of the Year twice in a row, first in 2015, and then combined 2016-2017.
