As a player: Played five years at IHL Houston (1994-99) and captained the Aeros to a Turner Cup title in 1999. Finished his minor-league career at Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in 2000.

As a coach: Yeo coached the Houston Aeros, the Wild's chief developmental affiliate, to the second-best record (46-28-6) in the Western Conference. The Aeros advanced to the Calder Cup finals, where they lost in six games to the Binghamton Senators. He also was an assistant for five years in Pittsburgh.

Personal: Yeo and his wife, Tanya, have a daughter, Braeden (14), and a son, Kyler (12).
