We need to talk about Kevin

Before scooping up awards for his work in "Hatfields & McCoys," Kevin Costner was a genuine movie star who, for a time, seemed incapable of doing wrong. You can see some of his finest work in a marathon that features "JFK" (11 a.m. Encore, Saturday), "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" (2:15 p.m.), "Waterworld" (4:40 p.m.), "Open Range" (7 p.m.) and "Silverado" (9:20 p.m.).

First wives club

Black History Month kicks off with "Betty & Coretta" (7 p.m. Saturday, Lifetime), a new movie starring Angela Bassett as Coretta Scott King and Mary J. Blige as Betty Shabazz, spouses, respectively, of Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Blige also served as one of the executive producers.

Country comforts

There's a solid chance that you're sick and tired of hearing "Don't Stop Believin'," but maybe a country twang can help you tolerate one more spin as Journey and Rascal Flatts team up for the latest edition of "CMT Crossroads" (8 p.m. Saturday, CMT).
