ROBBINSDALE, Minn. — Crews are repairing a sinkhole that opened over the weekend after a water main break in Robbinsdale.
Workers on Monday will begin removing the failed three-foot water pipeline to inspect and repair other utilities affected by the break. Repairs to those utilities will be made Tuesday.
The sinkhole opened at County Road 81 between 36th Avenue and Highway 100. The road is closed at 42nd Avenue North between Broadway Avenue and Lakeland Avenue.
Drivers should follow detours until repairs are complete. Weather permitting, the road should reopen to traffic July 3.
