Golden Valley-based M.A. Mortenson is reportedly planning to build a 115,000-square-foot data center in Chaska for Stream Data Centers of Dallas, according to a report Tuesday by Finance & Commerce.
The data center would do much to bolster Chaska's efforts to procure more office, data and call centers for its suburban core. Finance & Commerce reports that Mortenson is considering building a second data center after the first one is finished.
The measure needs approval from the Chaska City Council. A vote is expected later this month.
