Even with his now-former program staring an NCAA postseason ban in the face, Jim Calhoun retired with no regrets on Thursday.

"I never, ever, ever said that I was mistake free," Calhoun said. "But I always tried to do the right thing."

If he wasn't going to have regrets upon calling it quits, who will?

Not this Utah quarterback.

Nor Kim Klijsters.

Nor Andy Roddick.

Not even Barry Bonds when it comes to working with BALCO.

Maybe nobody regrets anything in sports.
