Maybe the Pistol Annies aren't as tough as they sound. The spunky country trio – Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley – has pulled out of its gig on June 7 at the Winstock festival in Winsted, Minn. In fact, the trio has cancelled all its performances in June.

Instead, Winstock will get a performance by Lambert, who has sold more records and won more awards than the Pistol Annies, who released their second album to great acclaim this spring..

There was no explanation for the Pistol Annies cancellation.

Winstock promoter Gary Marx said he received a one-sentence e-mail: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, Pistol Annies are unable to appear on any dates in June but Miranda Lambert will perform instead."

The 20th annual Winstock, set for June 7-8, will also feature Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley, Kip Moore, Neal McCoy, Sawyer Brown, the Farm and others. For more info, go to www.winstockfestival.com.
