Byron Buxton missed four games for the Twins' Class A team in Cedar Rapids with a thumb injury.

It looks like he's healthy again.

Buxton with 5-for-6 with two triples and a double Wednesday night in the Kernels' 14-5 victory over Quad Cities. The game featured a 10-run fourth inning.

Kernels manager Jake Mauer told metrosportsreport.com, which ciovers the Kernels: "He had a jammed thumb. It didn't look like it was bugging him too much tonight, though."

Buxton, the second player taken overall in the 2012 amateur draft, is now batting .348 and channeled his inner Kirby Puckett when he said: "I was seeing the ball real good tonight."

The Kernels are scheduled to be on FSN North at noon Monday when they play a home game against Kane County.
